Rod has had a love for magic for 25 years after being inspired by Paul Daniels and other television magicians growing up. It’s quite ironic that Rod’s father in law is also called Paul Daniels. This shows that God does have a sense of humour.
For the best part of those years Rod mainly learned card tricks to entertain and amaze his friends and family. In recent years though, Rod realised that this talent is something God has given him so has spent time developing his act which includes card tricks, sleight of hand, impossible predictions and more.
Rod’s new magic and testimony act has been astounding audiences across the United Kingdom. He is the perfect choice for your churches outreach event whether it’s a curry night, men’s breakfast (or woman’s!), Alpha supper or any other special occasion.
Rod’s unique way of communicating and engaging with people through audience participation, banter and seemingly impossible tricks is a fantastic way to break the ice and build a bridge of credibility before He shares his powerful life story.
If you would like to book Rod to come and do his ‘Magic & Testimony’ at your church outreach event please go to the ‘invite Rod’ page.
Here are what others are saying about Rod’s innovative evangelism:
‘Absolutely loved our event that Rod provided. Great food, yummy cakes an authentic and dynamic real life story shared with humor, compassion, raw and real with lots of magic and fun thrown in!! A great life transforming afternoon for many!’
Richard and Anna Cooke Senior Leaders Bridge Church Bolton
Rod Williams may not have fooled Penn & Teller but he fooled all of us! There was a good balance between entertaining magic and personal testimony and evangelism. In addition a pleasure to work with, and a great blessing to many. Well worth inviting to an appropriate event!”
Alan Meyer, Senior Leader Carlisle Community Church
As a CAP Centre it is always a pleasure to welcome Rod to a client event, his testimony is so powerful and it has such impact. The magic adds a whole new dimension to his story with audience participation and lots of fun, but this never overshadows the life transforming story he has to offer. A client of our centre, who was facing a prison sentence, became a Christian after hearing Rod’s story and during his time in prison he built a relationship with the chaplain where his faith started to grow and on his release found a local church to attend.

Rod came to speak at one of our Client event where he did magic tricks and shared his amazing testimony. This combination really works well as the card tricks help people to feel at ease and get to know a bit about Rod as a person before he shared his testimony. Clients then get to understand what an amazing transformation has taken place as Rod makes appropriate references to scripture and gently challenges them to respond to the gospel. An inspiring and thought provoking evening and one that I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of holding an evangelistic event.’
